ARRIVING TO THE HOTEL:

Getting to Grand Park Kodhipparu was surprisingly smooth. We weren’t sure about the transportation at first, but as soon as we landed at Malé Airport, a friendly staff member was already there waiting for us. After a quick 20-minute speedboat ride, we arrived at the resort and were greeted with big smiles and a refreshing welcome drink — exactly what we needed after a long flight. 🌴✨

Even though the weather was a bit rainy that day, nothing could take away the excitement of finally being in paradise

THE ROOM:

I stayed in an overwater villa, and honestly, it was everything you’d expect.

A spacious room, a comfy king-size bed, and floor-to-ceiling windows

that give you a constant view of that insane turquoise water.

One of my favorite features? The glass floor panel where you can see

fish swimming right beneath you. And of course The Bathroom wich was huge

and luxurious, with a rain shower and a bathtub that overlooks the water. Perfect for a soak with a view.

If overwater isn’t your thing, they also have beachfront villas with direct access to the sand. Honestly, you can’t go wrong with either — it just depends on the vibe you’re looking for.

THE FOOD

The food here was solid. There are three restaurants — The Edge, Breeze Poolside Dining, and FireDOOR for more upscale dining. Breakfast is a buffet with a ton of options, and dinners had a nice mix of international and local flavors.”
I’d rate the food an 8 out of 10. Plenty of variety, and if you’re a seafood lover, you’re in luck. But be prepared — meals in the Maldives aren’t cheap.

RESORT AMENETIES

Now let’s talk about the resort itself. The infinity pool is a vibe — perfect for lounging and catching a sunset drink. 🍹 As for the spa — I didn’t get a chance to check it out this time, but if you go, let me know how it is!”

And for those who like to stay active, like me, the gym’s got you covered. You can keep up with your workouts while enjoying an incredible ocean view.

The beaches? Perfection. Soft white sand, crystal-clear water, and plenty of spots to relax. You can also snorkel right off your villa deck, which was a huge plus. 🐠”

They also offer activities like kayaking, paddleboarding, and diving trips. The coral reef here is stunning, so if you’re into underwater adventures, you’ll love it.

For honeymooners, couples, or anyone wanting a slice of tropical paradise, I’d say go for it! Just budget accordingly for food and extras.
