When I think about how the world is changing, it makes me so happy to see hotels stepping up to care for the environment while still looking stunning. And where better to find a hotel like this than in one of the world’s most modern and green cities: Singapore!
Before my trip, I wondered where to stay. Should I go for the famous Marina Bay Sands, just to say I’ve seen the boat on the roof? Or should I pick something different, something more meaningful? In the end, I chose PARKROYAL COLLECTION Pickering, and trust me, I have zero regrets!
This hotel is truly one of a kind. From the outside, it looks like a living, breathing garden in the middle of the city. There are lush green walls, sky gardens on every level, and even little waterfalls that make you forget you’re in a busy city. It’s like nature and architecture decided to work together and created this peaceful oasis.
SUSTAINABILITY:
What I love most is that it’s not just for show, this hotel really cares about sustainability. They use energy-saving systems, rainwater harvesting, and plenty of natural light to reduce waste. Even the building design keeps the rooms cooler, so they don’t have to blast the air conditioning all day. It’s smart and beautiful at the same time!
Inside, every detail feels fresh, clean, and calming. The staff are so friendly and really pay attention to the little things, which makes the stay even better.

Now, let’s talk about the food! The breakfast buffet at Lime Restaurant has been one of the best I’ve ever tried. You get a mix of everything, traditional Asian dishes, fresh fruit, pastries, and classic American breakfast options too. It’s the kind of breakfast you wake up excited for.

And if you love wellness like I do, you’ll be happy here. The pool is gorgeous, a long infinity pool with amazing city views. Right beside it is the gym, fully equipped with everything you need. It’s so relaxing to swim in the morning or sneak in a quick workout with such a beautiful backdrop.
